Free patient-specific stroke advice from the Royal College of Physicians
This free app, based on the National clinical guideline for stroke 2012 (Royal College of Physicians) provides guidance on how to care for someone after they have suffered a stroke or transient ischaemic attack (TIA). It is designed specifically for patients and their carers, in collaboration with the Stroke Association. You will find answers to key questions about stroke care, and advice on how to prevent a further stroke or TIA. The app also gives you guidance about rehabilitation after stroke, both immediately after the event and for the months and years that follow. With one click, you can telephone support organisations or visit their websites for further advice.
